Blood donations are critical to saving lives and supporting a variety of medical treatments, including surgeries, cancer care, and trauma recovery. Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood, and there is always a constant need for donors to maintain an adequate blood supply. By donating blood, you can help ensure that patients in your community and beyond have access to this life-saving resource.
In addition to supporting life-saving blood donations, the Rotary Club of Buckhannon-Upshur will also be collecting non-perishable food items for the Upshur Cooperative Parish House Food Pantry. Donations will help provide much-needed food to those in need in the local community. Items needed include canned vegetables, canned beans, and peanut butter & jelly.
