Do you dream of seeing your name in print? A special one-day writing workshop in Buckhannon will teach aspiring authors how to get published, from crafting the perfect pitch to understanding the publishing process.
On March 26, local author Sasha Hibbs will offer insider tips on getting published at a special writing workshop in Buckhannon.
Last offered two years ago, this special one-day “How to Get Published” writing workshop will be held on Wednesday, March 26, with sign-ins beginning at 5:45 p.m. and the course beginning at 6 p.m. at The Infamous Art Gallery (34 East Main Street Buckhannon, WV 26201, right beside Chase Bank on Main Street).
The course is designed to last approximately one hour and a half but might run over depending on the size of the class.
Hibbs presenter will discuss publishing opportunities, how to write queries & pitches, how to market yourself and your books, what makes an agent/editor/reader stop reading your manuscript, and more. No matter what you’re writing — fiction or nonfiction — the course will help point you in the right direction. Writers of all genres are welcome.
Please note that Hibbs writes fiction and this is in no way a promise of publication.
