Maxwell elected to board of directors for WV State Council for Homecare & Hospice

Vandalia Health’s Davis Health System proudly announces the nomination and election of Ken Maxwell, Administrator of Home Health Services for Davis Health System, to the Board of Directors for the West Virginia State Council for Homecare & Hospice (WVCHCH). This esteemed organization is dedicated to advancing the home health industry through education, networking and advocacy.

Maxwell has been a member of Davis Health System’s HomePlus home health care team since 2008, serving as an account executive and director of home medical equipment before his current role as administrator.

The WVCHCH plays a pivotal role in supporting home health agencies across West Virginia and Virginia by addressing industry challenges, providing resources and engaging with state and federal representatives on legislative matters.

“West Virginians rely heavily on home health services to maintain their independence and receive quality care in the comfort of their own homes. In our state and surrounding region, where rural communities are common, home health providers are a lifeline, delivering essential medical and support services to individuals who might otherwise struggle to access the care they need,” Maxwell said. “I am honored to join the Board of Directors for the WV State Council for Homecare & Hospice and support its mission to provide regulatory support, education and leadership to home health providers and help ensure quality care and resources for communities statewide.”

Maxwell looks forward to working alongside fellow board members to support the critical work of homecare providers and to advocate for the needs of the industry at both state and federal levels.

“We are incredibly proud of Ken’s appointment to the Board of Directors for the WV State Council for Homecare & Hospice,” said Ron Andro, Senior Vice President Davis Health System, and Chief Administrative Officer, Davis Medical Center. “Ken’s extensive experience, dedication to patient-centered care and leadership in home health services make him an excellent representative for our organization and the communities we serve. His role on the board will not only strengthen the voice of rural health care providers but also enhance our shared commitment to ensuring accessible, quality care for patients across West Virginia.”
