Grant County Bank has appointed Charles “Kirk” Wilson to its Board of Directors, enhancing its strategic vision and community ties. Wilson, who is also the President of L&W Enterprises, Inc., brings an extensive background in engineering, construction, and business management to the role.
A retired Navy Commander, Wilson’s career includes significant leadership positions in both military and civilian sectors. He served as a Military Advisor to the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Installations and Environment at the Pentagon and was the Public Works Officer at Naval Air Station Lemoore. His experience spans various global engineering and construction projects, reflecting a strong commitment to public service.

Wilson holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from West Virginia University and a Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from Penn State University. As a licensed Professional Engineer, he boasts over 40 years of expertise in project management, design and construction, budgeting, and community development. His company, L&W Enterprises, has operated since 2005 and handles an array of projects across West Virginia, including infrastructure, gas and oil pads, poultry operations, and community developments.

In addition to his role at Grant County Bank, Wilson is actively involved in the community as President of the Grant County Chamber of Commerce, where he has supported local business initiatives and community events. His dedication aligns with the bank’s mission of promoting economic development.
In his free time, Wilson enjoys hunting, fishing, cooking, and spending quality moments with his family.
