Artists needed for teaching positions at Randolph County Arts Center

ELKINS — The Arts Center of Randolph County is on the lookout for passionate and motivated artists to join its Art Education team. This opportunity is open for artists who are interested in teaching classes for children, teens, and adults in their Elkins facility.

The Arts Center provides an ideal environment for instructing art and engaging the community. It offers artists the flexibility to tailor classes to their specific needs and creative visions. According to the Arts Center, “Fun is the biggest requirement!”

The Center welcomes instructors in various artistic mediums, including pottery, ceramics, stained glass, fused glass, basket weaving, watercolors, acrylic painting, oil painting, mixed media, and other nontraditional art forms.

The organization strives to foster a greater understanding and appreciation of the visual arts through art education, exhibitions, and community engagement.

Artists who join the teaching team will enjoy several perks such as a listing on the online Artist Registry, a flexible schedule, supplemental income, and access to other art classes offered at The Arts Center.

Those interested in applying are encouraged to submit a resume or CV, two references, and a letter detailing their relevant experience and reasons for their interest in the position. Applicants should also include available times for an interview and photos of their art in their chosen medium.
