BUCKHANNON — WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the Gold Honors Award for 2024 by the West Virginia Hospital Association (WVHA).

This award is part of the Association’s Commitment to Excellence Honors Program. The hospital was awarded this honor based on the following areas: Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM); Antibiotic Stewardship; Care Transitions; Hospital Emergency Management Program; Hospital Quality Improvement Contract (HQIC); Influenza Vaccination; Opioid Response Initiative; Patient and Family Engagement (PFE); and WVHA Discharge Data Program.
