The S.E.T.H. Project invites you to an extraordinary event dedicated to raising awareness and funds to #EndALS. Prepare for an enchanting night April 27, 2024, at The Outpost and Event Center in Buckhannon. The Speakeasy Soirée promises an unforgettable evening of entertainment with music, gourmet cuisine, refreshing libations, a silent auction, and thrilling surprises. This 21+ event begins at 5 p.m.
February’s early bird special presents an excellent opportunity to gain an advantage over your fellow soirée attendees and potentially craft a winning poker hand! Gather your companions and attire yourselves in Gatsby Glam for a night destined to be etched in memory.

For those unfamiliar with ALS, it is a progressive motor neuron disease resulting in the gradual paralysis of voluntary muscles due to the brain’s inability to communicate effectively with the body. ALS is presently incurable, with an average life expectancy of 2-5 years post-diagnosis. Join us as we strive to gather resources to #EndALS.
Event Schedule:
- 5:00 PM: Cocktail Hour – Enjoy music, mingle with fellow guests, participate in the silent auction, and build your poker hand while indulging in charcuterie and adult beverages.
- 6:30 PM: Dinner – Relish a delectable dinner prepared by The Outpost & Event Center.
- 7:00 PM: Poker Hand Prize #1 – Showcase your best hand for a chance to win.
- 8:00 PM: Poker Hand Prize #2 – Test your luck once more for another thrilling prize.
- 8:30 PM: Silent Auction Conclusion – Make your final bids count. Winning auction items will contribute to your poker hand.
- 9:00 PM: Poker Hand #3 – Compete for the final poker hand prize of the evening.
How to build your poker hand: Each ticket holder will receive a card (or two, if you purchase tickets in February) upon entry to the event. Additional cards can be obtained by making a donation, playing various games (for a fee), and winning silent auction items.

About The S.E.T.H. Project: The S.E.T.H. Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission of improving the life experience for those diagnosed with ALS. Through fundraising, the Project can advocate, educate, and raise funds for the development of life-saving research for ALS. The S.E.T.H. Project also supports the future of ALS through its scholarship fund for high school seniors going into a STEM-based field.
